First Review Page Pitches to Local Businesses

About two month ago I finished the preperation of the Google Review Page and made it completely ready to be sold. I made a pricelist, I worked out a simple yet effective way to pitch and deliver it to businesses in under one hour total, and had everything ready on my phone. I could deliver both in person and completly online without human contact, I could potentially sell to anyone anywhere in the world. Short to say: I perfected my first little product.

But then, I prograstinated my first pitch. I worried about what would happen and how I could fail. There was a time all I thought about in a day was how to perfectly pitch, but I never actually came to action. After not doing anything for two weeks, I had a new project, the Jarvis Ai project (another article about this), and forgot about the old one.

Three days ago, I looked at my preperations again in my cloud. Found it done to perfection, exactly how I left it. All the documents were exactly named and sorted, tabs were still open, a to-do list was ready to be executed. So I told myself this is it, no further hesitation. So comes yesterady, that I search for local food places, especially those with a lower google rating.

I finsihed school at around 1pm, then went to the gym to calm myself down and follow my daily routine, and got ready to those places I picked. Outside that first store, I open all the needed tabs on my phone, checked everything once again, read my pitch-notes once again and walked in. Spoke to a really friendly woman on the front, asked her if her boss is here today. Boss wasn’t here unfortunately, but she seemed interested and handed me over the stores notebook. She old me to write down a note for the boss, she would phone him right away. I left my email and telephone number, and shortly wrote what this was about.

Did this four times in total, all with a similar outcome. I did meet one boss, but he didn’t really speak german or english, I’ll send him my pitch via email now. All in all, I got two phone numbers and three email adresses. That isn’t perfect, as I was kind of hoping to show the review page to someone on command, but this is something to work with. We’ll se how this goes now, but the most important thing about this was, that I finally rally did something, not just planned it. Hope this will slighten my fear of rejection (or however you wanna call it) for the next time.
